A warm
welcome awaits you at
Schussler House Bed And Breakfast
in Historic Madison, Indiana.
Your hosts, Mary Jo and Dave Herrala
graciously share their meticulously restored 1849 Federal-Greek
Revival home with their guests.

This beautiful home was built by a Civil
War surgeon Dr. Charles Schussler for his office and family home and is located in
the heart of Madison's 133 block historic downtown
listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A day's activities might include
touring historic sites, strolling along the Ohio River, shopping our many antique shops or
just stepping out the front door for a walking tour to enjoy the historic architecture and
streetscapes. Just minutes away are Clifty Falls State Park and Hanover College.
And when you return from your outing you will enjoy quiet relaxation in the front
parlor with an abundance of reading material of local interest, and soft music.

Your
day begins with a sumptuous breakfast, carefully selected and prepared
especially for you. Breakfast will include selected delights
such as fresh fruit, coffeecakes, breads and muffins. You'll
savor featured treats such as apple slices, omelets, French toast
or ham and potato strata. And of course the ever present aroma
of fresh coffee is a wonderful way to welcome the day.
